Charlotte Page - Founder of AniMate
Behaviourist and trainer

Charlotte founded AniMate in 2018, having just moved to the area to study Zoology at the University of Lincoln. The business began with 1-2-1 puppy sessions and walking, and has grown over the years to offer group classes, behavioural consultations, and workshops.

Since graduating with a first class honours degree in 2021, Charlotte has been studying a part-time masters of science degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour with the University of Edinburgh. Now two years into this course, there is just the dissertation year left to go, and Charlotte will be applying for Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist status with CCAB Certification Ltd.

In addition, Charlotte has completed courses with organisations such as Canine Principles, the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers, and Fear Free.

When she isn't working with dogs, Charlotte spends time with her own two, Patterdale terrier Chase, and border collie Tucker, as well as her parrots and her horse.

Alice Furniss
Assistant Trainer

Alice is our assistant trainer and runs our puppy classes, as well as working alongside Charlotte in the Rethinking Reactivity group. She is currently taking a course in 'Puppy Development, Care, and Coaching' with Canine Principles.

Here's a little intro from Alice herself:

"I'm an animal-lover who is learning more about training dogs. I moved from Norfolk to Lincolnshire/Nottinghamshire nearly 4 years ago. I am a Speech and Language Therapist working in LPFT; in the future, I would like to train a therapy dog to be my partner in crime at work. I love spending time with our family dog, Max, and my favourite thing to do at the weekend is to go on a long dog walk followed by a yummy pub meal."
